How safe is Cagliari for solo female travelers?

Family travel

I stayed in Torre delle Stelle in cagliari, in a (not super nice) Airbnb. Other than that, it was near the beach and that never gets old. Would have a beautiful breakfast in the cafe on the beach, then go swim. Pasta at home and then go back to the beach at night. (You definitely need a car if you go here btw)

I feel very safe in Cagliari! There is a fair amount to do and there’s a nice buzz to the city. I found it difficult to find hostels so am in Airbnbs. There are a good amount of tours here and people seem very used to tourists and are very friendly.

Cagliari is overall a safe city, but I would avoud as a woman to walk alone in the dark, expecially after midnight. In the city center is safe since there usually are lot of people, but outside the city center I would move with a friend or a taxi. During the day the city is pretty safe.

About me

Hi! I'm Solana (28 y.o.) I'm from Argentina and have been living in Cagliari for 4 years now. I live in the center of the city with my boyfriend Antonio and our cat Mix (she might sleep on your legs at night or take a nap with you 🤭) We are very open and easy going people. We often organise small meetings with our friends at home and sometimes those meetings become like tiny fests because we love to enjoy music, friends and good food. We are vegans but respect diversity! So if you want to cook meat or anything you'd like please feel at home! We have an active outdoor life, we love nature, so we will be happy to recommend places to visit around the city and tips on how to get there of course! Sending you love, Sol
