I visited Verona 2 years ago for a school project. I stayed there for 4 nights and during my stay I felt very safe. The food and the water was quite expensive (in Greece is cheaper) but its was good. We had great time there visiting museums, and Romeo and Juliet house. It was kinda difficult to find open place to eat in afternoon or at evening but I suppose that’s how it’s works in Italy

I went to Verona to visit a friend and while he was working I got to run around the city centre and some of the surrounding areas. I was hot, and when I say hot I mean hot hot! Personally I'm a person how gets sunburnt so fast so I really had to be careful but I was definitely worth a visit so many different people and just listening to the passionate Italian on the streets made me happy! LOVED IT 💗

I would say it is pretty safe, Especially the city center even at night, I never felt in danger. The surrounding areas also are safe, of course you always have to be careful and aware depending on the situation

I think Verona is quite a safe city overall, I don’t live in the city though but each time that I go there I can walk around safely without needing to constantly check out my surroundings. Of course I suggest you to not go around with your bag open or leaving things on the table, because pickpockets are everywhere (even tough sometimes you can find really good people) Hope this helps you to understand better how safe the city is and looking forward to meet you eventually!

Verona city is always very safe in the day. Crimes are not so common, I don't know people who has being robbed. Be aware in the bus for phone and wallet but it's really rare to get robbed. During late night is a lot quiet, and you don't find many people hanging around. Some areas can be frequented by some annoying people, but they're usually not dangerous. The stations aren't very safe at night, should avoid little dark streets. Sometimes in the night you can find fascist messing around, they are usually young people dressed all black (there's a fascist group called "Il Mastino". Stay away from them

Hi! I’m Martina, from Italy! I’m 30 years old, currently living in Verona, but I’m Sardinian. So, during the summer, I stay at home in Sardinia ☺️ I found this app a few days ago, and I think it’s great to meet other women with the same passions and hobbies! I love visiting new cities, going to museums, and attending concerts. In my free time, I usually go trekking or head to the lake (if I’m in Verona) or to the beach (if I’m in Sardinia). Anyway, I love doing many things and meeting new people. I hope to be able to host some of you soon, and I also look forward to visiting your city!
