I went to Verona to visit a friend and while he was working I got to run around the city centre and some of the surrounding areas. I was hot, and when I say hot I mean hot hot! Personally I'm a person how gets sunburnt so fast so I really had to be careful but I was definitely worth a visit so many different people and just listening to the passionate Italian on the streets made me happy! LOVED IT š
Posted: March 12, 2024Experienced: June, 2023I had a really good time in Verona last year. The city is beautiful and there is a lot to see. I stayed for 3 days and simply wandered around the streets of the city center to see where it would lead me. I recommend taking advantage of the Verona card, it costs 26 euros and gives you access to all tourist attractions, allows you to skip lines, and you can also use it on city buses for two days. If you get away from the main squares, food and drinks become cheaper. I was there in September last year and I felt very safe.
Posted: September 12, 2023I traveled alone to Verona and chose a one-day trip to Lake Garda. I really enjoyed it and felt completely safe. Verona is a beautiful city. I stayed right in the center and didn't venture too far from my accommodation at night. I used trains from Verona to Lake Garda and had no problems buying tickets online. I don't speak Italian, but I didn't encounter any problems.

Verona is a beautiful city and with great history. There is a free tour anyone can take part and I would recommend u to do it you will see Verona with different eyes. In the Teatro Romano there is every night during summer an opera. I would come again here but not in summer where there are too many tourists and the weather is too hot.
Posted: July 18, 2023Beautiful city to travel with a group. We had a lovely time as part of our student exchange, the people were welcoming and food was great. There are threats of pickpocketing at a few spots so do your research and keep your bags safe.

Verona is a quite safe city although it has, like every city, its ups and downs. I personally feel safe navigating it, although there is occasional cat calling and in certain areas you have to be more cautious (like for example venti settembre street, the porta nuova train station and the porta vescovo train station).
Posted: January 23, 2025Itās safe because itās a small town. You can walk alone through the streets and feel safe because there is always someone. Also public transports are safe. Of course some neighbourhoods are better than others but Iām happy to show you around.

Hi, I'm Clara, I'm 18 and I'm Italian. I'll study psychology the next year, I'm a waitress at the moment. I love to travel (obviously), sing, dance, paint, read, meet new people and nature. I have a weird sense of humor, I'm kind and sensitive. If you want adventure, relax or have fun I'm in. I don't know what else to say š

Hi girlzzz Rebecca here :) I started to make foreign friends since a was a teen working and studing on the coast in England, carrying on the business in Bali and Ibiza recently. Currently they are my closest people, even if I canāt see them at any time Iām a native European, 75% Italian and 25% viking Growing up in the outskirts of Milan and have been living in Veron for years now (with a tiny roman break ) Sooo Veron is definitely my fav place to live in , so romantic and so ancient, like a fairytale and a strategic point to see a lot of cities around. Btw Iām a wild soul more than a ātravelerā, for me go deep down in peoples local tradition is part of that specific vibe and I wanna know more and more about world and inabithants , so Iām really interested in a.
