Is Σουρωτή Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

I was staying in Souroti (near Thessaloniki) for about 3 weeks as a volunteer in a dog shelter. The experience was amazing, the town was extremely small but you could feel the greek atmosphere everywhere. I’ve felt very safe both in Souroti and Thessaloniki. The food (and all the other necessities) was definitely affordable, prices quite similar to Poland. There are some buses that can take you to bigger cities. I recommend walking around the area to see the beautiful views, but be careful on the busy streets and careless drivers!
