Is Mytilene Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Felt safe, most people spoke some English and were willing to help out. Got around the city by foot. I enjoyed visiting the museums, mytilene castle, the city center, the beach. Nothing really lesbian about the place, if you are looking for that, visit the village where sappho was born.

Its really cool in general. Really late at night there is a slight possibility of having someome wierd trying to talk to you and make you feel uncomfortable buy rare case. Other than that pretty cool town
