Is Wurzburg Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Traveled during Winter but the city is beautiful. Had a great stay at the Ibis Hotel. Enjoyed sight seeing using the trams and the buses.Beautiful streets. Got lovely souvenirs for friends and family. Enjoyed my stay

I’d say it’s pretty safe, I never had any issues. There are some concerns about the Zellerau, and the train station has a few drug addicts, but I’d say it’s on a normal level. They usually don’t engage with other people.

It is quite safe here except at the main train station. If you're out alone at night you should obviously pay attention to where you're going and stuff but overall very safe. Not a lot of pickpocketing here aswell since we don't have that many tourists

I’ve not been here for very long, but I always feel safe walking around no matter the time of day or night. It does get very quiet at night though surprisingly for a college city. In my defense, I don’t go out to bars often, and I’ve not been in the city center very often lately but overall I feel safe!

I have been living in Würzburg for 2 years. I did not experience something extreme, only some verbally disturbing actions from men 2-3 times. But it is relatively safe comparing big cities. Stay safe girls💕

I am feeling very Save in the City Würzburg, Of course I do feel a bit worried, when I walk home at night, but it’s more in my head than someone actually attacking me or something. I never felt like being in danger

It’s a nice small student city. Where always you have a lot of young people waking on the streets. Mostly people here are Germans. In my experience leaving here, I didn’t have a big problems, only some few comments from the strangers. So I do think it’s a really good city to stay in. But of course be aware of streets near clubs and train station
