Wuppertal is safe, but there are some places that I don't recommend visiting after dark(for ex. the center). This city is famous for Schwebebahn, zoo and local museum. I advise you to visit alsothe street with cafes Laurentius Straße🤗

Wuppertal is a diverse city with a lot of different people and cultures live in it. Some areas shouldn‘t be spent a lot of time in when it’s dark but overall it’s quite safe. There are some men groups when it’s late in the city center and in some areas but I would say not more than everywhere else.

Wuppertal is bot that bad but recently the criminal rate is very high. For me personally I dont like being on my own at night, doesnt matter where Iam. Its still much more safe for a woman to be with somebody.

I generally feel quite safe in Wuppertal. Like anywhere, there’s a normal level of caution you’d have at night, but I’ve never felt particularly unsafe walking around on my own. The nightlife in Wuppertal is small, but where things are happening—like around bars and clubs—it feels safe and well-frequented.

Wuppertal has safe areas and areas, where I wouldn't be alone as a girl at night. So it depends where you are. The City for example is okay. Furthermore I haven't had any issues here in the past. I can recommend it.
