Is Verden Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

The City center is really nice and you can have great walk at the river 'Aller', especially the playground there is nice for relaxing. Good train connection to Bremen, Hannover and Hamburg. There are some old classic houses and a gorgeous cathedral, the 'Verdener Dom'.

All in all very safe. In nighttime it is probably better to avoid some places, if you're alone, but normally you should be fine. I never had any problems and the public transportation is save. Never experienced a robbery or sexual assault.
