It is always depending on the city district you are. At day is everything fine. If someone can bring you home, would be always the best especially at night. Walk never alone through parks, when there are no lights.
Posted: October 23, 2025It's usually safe but in some areas I can't say anything but in the city centre where I live it's pretty safe and I love being here. I have heard some things from my German friends that it's not safe sometimes but I have never experienced it.
Posted: October 8, 2025It's overall very safe there are some parts where i would be careful after the night falls but still not scared just paying more attention. You do have to be careful wher you leave your bike though because it might get stolen

I'm an Indian student in Germany trying to see as much of Europe as I can before my visa runs out! 🇮🇳🇩🇪 I love nature, old buildings, and finding the best views. My travel style is "80/20"—meaning 80% healthy living and 20% eating all the local pastries I can find. I’ve become a pro at sleeping on long, cheap bus rides just to get to a new city for the weekend. Whether it’s hiking or just getting lost in a new town, I'm always up for an adventure and a good photo! 🌍📸

Hi, I am Svenja from Germany and I really enjoy traveling, especially those kind of places that are lesser known. For a couple of years now my sister, my mother and I travel somewhere every year. We‘ve traveled to London, Rome, Santiago de Compostela and many other places together.
