A very safe, small, cozy town. Crime levels are generally low, with violent crime being very rare. Most incidents involve minor property crimes such as bicycle theft or occasional vandalism. I doubt you would feel unsafe even when walking alone at night

Life is very quiet and enjoyable I think. There are lots of young people right now because the semester has begun and when there is no school, it is very quite. Not much to see but still beautiful to explore.

Lüneburg is a small student city. During the day it is a very safe city. At night i would try to avoid the parc and station, but i never lived an unsafe situation even there. I feel very safe in Lüneburg generally. It is a political left orientated city where especially students are very aware and paying attention on how the people around them are doing.
