Leverkusen is a safe place for me. The people are friendly and very helpful. If you need help, they are very willing to assist. The streets are very well lit at night. So you don't need to be shy.

I feel safe walking home late at night. I never experienced anything bad. But I guess it depends on where you live in Leverkusen. In the daytime there are always many people around you which is why you dont need to worry.
