I got used to Krefeld when I moved here for my studies pretty quickly, I never felt unsafe during the day. At night I try to be aware of where I'm heading, sketchy backroads or whatever. As a queer woman I have never been harassed or attacked in Krefeld before

Krefeld is okay during daytime, but I don't recommend to go out alone when it gets late. Not all people mean harm, but that doesn't mean it's safe either. Especially the central station and the area around that is not safe at all, if you ask me.

A bit of all. But in general safe. The train station is noch the safest place but the city is completely normal and the people are friendly and open. There are some nice cafes and restaurants. And we have nice museums

Hey, I'm Alina, from Germany and just recently found this hosting platform. I would love to solo travel in Europe, preferably without being TOOOO solo. At the same time I can host people willing to experience German urban culture 😸 I live very central in NRW in a city close to the netherlands, connected with cologne and Düsseldorf. I'd love to take trips with y'all and have a wholesome time :D
