As a queer person, I've never experienced any assault, harassment or unsafe behavior in Karlsruhe. Not in public transportation or at night. All in all I'd say it's pretty safe. There are a few spots you should avoid at night tho, for example Oberreut or Werderplatz but the Train Central Station is very well lit and safe.

Hey I'm Mika, I use they/them pronouns. I'm currently unemployed but volunteer in a local animal shelter and do activism fulltime. I love exploring new cultures and learning new things. I've been traveling alone for 3 years already but always in my home country germany, now I want to expand a little bit :D
