Recently i have heard few incidents happened near Carl Euler str. but i have never faced any issues. I have walked alone in the night a lot of times to go back home from friends place and everytime it was safe:)

Kaiserslautern overall is very safe, there are no thefts or public crimes to be expected. In the daytime the safety everywhere is the highest, the main station might still be the riskiest place because of the most people being there.

This is mostly concerning the city center, can't really say anything about other parts of the town: Overall very safe, though there are some sketchy places in the city center where I prefer to not go alone after dark. Avoid the area around the mall at night as well as Stiftsplatz if there are no events happening. Any public gatherings with crowds are generally safe.
