hey! i’m a 21 years old film student from Ukraine, based in Hamburg, Germany. i live quite a settled life, i write, create and work on my stuff a lot. i don’t go out much, cause i get easily overwhelmed, but i’m craving connections with likeminded people, with whom we can share a moment of being alive. that’s also why i’m traveling, i love it a lot!

Hi I'm Jana. I'm a 29 yo ER nurse and medschool student. I like reading, playing football (or soccer for the Americans), SUPing on the Alster and trying new vegan spots. I spent some time working in different countries or just exploring new places and cultures. And got addicted to travelling pretty quickly :-)

American living in Hamburg, Germany, (aka one of the most beautiful cities in the world, fight me! :)) I’m a content editor in public relations. Love to play computer games in my free time with friends. (Current fave is Marvel Rivals with friends. Alone though, I play more Stardew Valley, Dorfromantik, Spiritfarer, Stray…) I also like to read fantasy!! Both high fantasy (Stormlight Archives) and YA like ACOTAR. Let’s see… am I missing anything else? Oh! If you like matcha, I can make an awesome matcha latte for us, with the matcha even coming from Japan. I was definitely influenced by Instragram and visited in 2024 for three weeks… Ask me anything, I’m a pretty open person :)

I felt safe most of the times but in a certain places like Hauptbahnhof or St. Pauli, I try not to pass those places by walking. I also sometimes didnt feel safe at public transports because of the Hijab i wear. Besides that I think Hamburg is wonderful. Ot has bith the criwded streets like Mönckebergstraße and boat trips from Landungsbrücken. I would %100 recommend you to go to Elbphilarmoni buildng. Its free to enter and you can see all the city from its balcony.
Posted: July 5, 2025I felt safe, i just had to watch out on the streets with clubs. I would recommend going to Kunsthalle museum and if you like going out then Reeperbahn. My restaurant recommendation is block house. I stayed at my sister’s so she drove me around but there is local bus and a train.
