Erlangen is one of the safest cities I know. Most of the city is wheelchair accessible, it's a safe space for kids and queer people and all minorities generally. It's also a quite international city since Siemens has a lot of offices there and people are coming from all around the world.
Posted: April 11, 2026One of the safest cities of Germany with the second losest Crime rate! Everyone is super nice, during the day you never have to feel anxious about public safety! Very calm city during the night. In the city centre is alway police around when there are parties.

I live in Germany with my girlfriend and her kids. I work as an assistant for people with handicaps, teach a bit french and study psychology :) I love discovering new activities, places and people.
