Aschaffenburg is pretty safe! In my 3 years living there I can count the "big" crimes on one hand. At night there's some drug dealing/using in Park Schöntal, so I'd avoid that area. You can roam as safely as a woman as in every other German smaller city.

I would say that Aschaffenburg ist pretty safe, normaly nothing should happen,but i wouldnt go to the trainstation and the park Schöntal at night. Sometimes there ist also some drug dealing in these areas.

Not really safe. High criminal rate. Especially around the train station I would not recommend going after dark. Take care of yourself and be careful, we have a high number of dr*gs here. If you go, please never alone.
