Prague is the safest city I've lived in and I can 100% say that I never feel unsafe. Of course, I don't walk through parks or unlit alleys at night (anywhere I go), but Prague is one of the safest cities in Europe and I can vouch for that.

Really safe, one of the safest cities in Europe, i do not worry about being mugged, pickpocketed or assaulted, i usually strut in the city center and it is safe here without any worries about my safety.
Posted: May 29, 2025I think it's pretty safe, unlike other states, but it's probably dangerous on the hlavni nadrazi or in more places like that. As a girl, I don't feel safe anywhere, but I have to know how to fight. So

Hi everyone! Prague is very safe city. I have never had a horrible experience and I generally feel safe during the day and night but that doesn’t mean I’m not careful or reckless. It is always good to be vigilante and have someone else knowing where you are and what you’re doing. This is my experience and I hope everyone coming to Prague will feel safe as I do here. Unfortunately, if you are not someone who fits the “white heterosexual narrative” you might experience some issues from small minded people (probably as anywhere else). If you do, please ignore it and walk away. Most people don’t actually do anything more than talk. If you come here to do all the tourist stuff please be careful when you exchange money, take a taxi as they can charge you way more (regular taxis not Ubers or Bolts) and also pickpocketing in busy tourist areas. I hope you’ll have a wonderful and safe stay in Prague! ❤️

Prague is a very safe city. There are no truly dangerous neighbourhoods like in most capital cities. Walking alone at night is fine as well - I stay cautious in the parks, but just for precaution. Ugly things rarely happen here and I myself have never experienced any night stalkers or weird encounters (knock on wood!). Sexism is unfortunately still a thing in Czech Republic, but mostly in a spoken form of language and it’s becoming more and more unusual.

Prague: punctual trams, delicious Vietnamese food, cool bars & restaurants, and live music. A city that runs like clockwork, with a vibrant nightlife and cultural scene. Must-visit! ✨ Obs: if you are an artist, go buy your supplies! The price compared to other European countries is very accessible🎨

Hi! My name is Nina and during the winter Im a guide in Finland, and when the season ends I like to travel around. I don’t follow a strict plan or schedule, preferring to go with whatever feels right. I’m always open to spontaneous trips and ideas. My main interests are sports (including rock climbing, hiking, surfing, snowboarding...). Even though I enjoy adrenaline-filled outdoor activities, I also find peace in art and crafts. I enjoy spending rainy days crocheting or drawing. You’ll often see me with a camera, as I love documenting my adventures. I like to go out and have fun with friends or meet new people along the way but I don’t drink alcohol or smoke. I also have a driver license so we can make a road trip. If any of this sounds good to you then im looking forward meeting you✨
