I loved Prague, but I found it a bit boring after a while. Two days felt completely enough for me to explore the city. The architecture is absolutely stunning. However, after taking photos and visiting the main landmarks, I felt like there wasn’t much else to do. It’s definitely worth visiting at least once.
Posted: April 3, 2026Experienced: November, 2025I solely wanted to visit this city because one of my favorite movies Rockstar was shot here and this city is just so magical and beautiful. 3 days are enough to go around Prague and it most definitely is so much cheaper than any other European city I have been too!
Posted: March 14, 2026I love about Prague that you don’t meet many “weird” pople because how big Prague it’s. There is good food, beautiful architecture, lot of shops, good safety. I recommend trying Svíčková and beer Plzeň.
Posted: March 12, 2026I highly recommend the Franz Kafka museum and the area around it. The museum is much bigger than it seems and a must, to understand the author. In the summer it is nice to walk at the river Moldau due to the fresh air, even though it is very crowded then.

Prague is really safe, there just some “shady” corners rather than whole areas. I have generally no issues getting around during night, but as any bigger city, take precautions and be aware of people around you.
Posted: May 19, 2026You can experience some cat calling and sometimes you can see drunk and yelling people. They can be scary but mostly harmless. Riscant locations are Palmovka, Smíchov and Anděl. Those can really be dangerous.

So far every area I’ve been in has been safe and problem free. I’ve visited the tourist spots which are busier of course but have nothing to report. Haven’t even come across pick pockets. Everyone seems very respectful. In the outskirts of Prague even though there are more signs of disarray, I still felt safe.

Prague is generally very safe, you have to pay attention because of the traffic sometimes and pickpocketing (but this never happened to me). There are some neighborhoods, that I don't recommend, such as Anděl, Florenc or Vrchlického sady (the park in front of the train station). Still, I visit these places quite often and nothing has ever happened to me.

Hello sisters! I am a nature lover, currently living in Prague, but originally from Mariánské Lázně (it is on the west of Czech Republic, I can also take you there:)) As I love travelling and I was helped a lot, I like to offer other people the same:). I am totally into swimming in the pure waters, I love waterfalls, rivers, lakes and so on:). I do photography and I like to create. From writing, painting, drawing to ceramics, dancing and theater. History and geography is not my strong side, but at least I can offer some adventure and fun!❤️✨️

EDIT Dec25: I realized I am washing and ironing bed linens and towels every weekend. Therefore, I would ask a fee to cover increased costs for energy and water (50 CKZ = 2 eur per person per night) since 2026. I am an open-minded and curious woman, divorced, independent with an adult son. I am ready to explore the world again, meet interesting people regardless age/gender/origin/language, learn new things. I would like to meet other inspiring women from all over the world.
