I’m Anna, I was born in Milan (Italy) and lived here all my life. I was born in 2006 and in September 2025 I will be starting university in Utrecht (Netherlands). I love animals (I have 2 cats) and nature, I always enjoy meeting new people and listen to their stories. Is Milan safe for women?

As girl you can roam around the city, in special way in the centre, safely. Just take care of your personal belongings because of pickpockets, in special way on the transport. I live alone since I was 18 yo in Milan and it is ok, be comfortable here. People is always attentive even to other people security. Of course, be careful of strangers, don’t stay alone during night and take in case a taxi, the official are white with reduced fares for women after 10pm
