Alleghe is a small tourist village, so it gets very crowded in the summer. I went there during the fall for a week and stayed in an apartment. The price was good, but we had booked well in advance. From there, you can do a bit of everything—relax and take a stroll around the lake, or take the car and drive to the nearby mountain passes.
