About me

Hi, I’m Maitry (30)! I’ve been living in Germany since August 2023 and currently based in Duisburg. The nearest city Düsseldorf is lively, vibrant and fun. I’m a lifelong vegetarian, don’t drink alcohol, and prefer meaningful chats over parties. I love exploring new places, especially the quiet, local, and lesser-known spots and discovering new cafés. I’m curious about cultures, traditional clothes, and cuisines, and I enjoy connecting with like minded women from around the world. Let’s share stories and explore together !

About me

hey fellow travel girls :) I am always happy to help, open minded (feminist, bi/queer, slightly spiritual), creative (studying architecture), curious, bold (Aries 🤷🏽‍♀️) and according to my therapist, I’m hyper-sensitive (overthinking, oversharing, overfeeling, … all the overs?) let‘s say I am a little bit of everything - always somewhere between caring too little and too much 🙃 (as we all are, I guess) I was born and raised in Leipzig and still live here - so if you need any insider tips, I‘m your girl :) I’m not into clubbing that much, since I get overstimulated easily so I probably won’t have any good recs for that. but I’m always down for a drink at a bar, an ice cream in the park or a picnic at the lake. after going around the world solo once and traveling to about 30 countries, I‘d say I‘m able to help with any of that as well :) I am the happiest with salty hair, a tan, the sound of the ocean nearby, a mask and fins or a good book and of course with friendly, loving and inspiring people around 🤙🏼

About me

Hi, I’m Christina, 28 years old from Germany. I started traveling in 2023. I’ve been to Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Columbia, to Australia for a year to make money again, to a few countries in Europe, worked a ski season in the alps in Austria and now I’m back in Latin America. At the moment I’m traveling through Ecuador. Will be on Galápagos Islands until the 5th of July and will travel through the mainland afterwards until probably end of August. I’ll do workaway now and then because I like staying longer sometimes in places to meet local people, escape the backpacking bubble for a while and to avoid getting tired of traveling. If you’re in the northern part of South America, I would love to do hiking together either in Ecuador, Colombia or Peru or just catching up and enjoy the city for a day. I would also love to stay with locals, so if you wanna host me, I would love that. xx Christina

About me

hi beautiful girls 🌹 I am Betül, I was raised in Germany in a Turkish family and I would say I'm definitely defining my identity as "migrant" somehow, I am an easy going 27 year old women, I am an extrovert and I really like to travel and enjoy a lot meeting locals 🌹 I am spontaneous and flexible and time doesn't feel real to me, especially when I am traveling. I like to eat a lot, especially street food I like to talk about politics a lot, also history and philosophy and poetry I like nature & hikes, but also culture and big city life I like dancing & partying (but not necessarily drink alcohol, I like to smoke 🍀 tho) I don't like fake people/fake kindness I don't like bad smells I don't like "apolitical" people I don't like fancy & money spending plans + I wanna learn Arabic!!! I send much love all around you ❤️ ps: if you don't support palestine we will not be friends 🙃

About me

Hi, I’m Liv Im 20 years old and I would describe myself as a open-minded, warm, and spontaneous person who loves deep talks, sunsets, and meaningful connections. Traveling has become my passion since I spent two months in Hawaii during high school and I haven’t stopped dreaming about faraway places ever since. I love meeting people from different cultures, sharing stories, and making memories in the most unexpected corners of the world. Solo travel has taught me to be adaptable, brave, and grateful and I truly believe that some of the most magical moments come from trusting strangers with kind hearts. I speak German natively, I feel confident in English and I learned French in school. I try to learn Italian and spanish on duolingo but it didn’t really work so far… Right now, I’m living at home near Stuttgart and preparing for medical school. I recently got back from a trip to Colombia and have a few months of freedom before I start my training as a dental assistant and study for the next entrance exam in September. My goal is to study dentistry next year, hopefully in Hamburg! Always happy to connect, share stories, or go on spontaneous little adventures

Is Germany worth visiting?

Muhlhausen/Thuringen, Solo travel

Its an old historic town which was rich in medieval times, therefore it features quite a few churches. The people where nice enough, but it is admittedly rather far away from any other signs of cities. Once you're there its kind of cozy, but getting there and leaving is the issue

Berlin, Solo travel

Overall it is a safe city. My comment is only on the cleanliness since there was so much trash in the public areas, even in the parks. I found some good and affordable Vietnamese restaurants that were so good and enjoyable. I was lucky to find a gay hotel (honestly I've never feel more safer around men like that in my whole life), I love them.
