I live in the town next to Westport but the town is very safe and has a reputation for being very wealthy. I personally wouldn’t walk alone anywhere at night but I don’t recall ever feeling unsafe in the town. They have a very nice downtown with ample shops and restaurants.

Hello, my name is Erika. I am visiting Maine this month with my roommate and we are looking for inexpensive places to stay within the Bar harbor/Portland area. We are very kind and conscientious and would stay for 1-2 nights.
