In the town centre of Wigan, it is not too bad, there are a few odd characters about to watch out for, but nothing to worry too much about. So long as you stay vigilant and keep your belongings on you, all will be fine. Plenty noce people about to chat and/or help.
Posted: January 10, 2025Wigan is a safe place, because it is often busy even at night so there are people around the town centre. There most umsafe areas are actually neibouring towns, namely skelmersdale which has a history of violent crime and gang activity. However that is also specific to one or two areas and gemreally doesn't affect the locals who are not themselces involved

Looking to start some more solo travelling, trying to get out of my comfort zone ☺️ would love to build my confidence and meet new people! I love reading and I'm a artist. I have recently started getting interested in writing my very own fantasy book. I also enjoy doing cross stitch.
