How safe is Ripon?

Ripon is, in comparison to other UK cities, extremely safe. We have chavs just like any other place in UK, however it’s safe enough to walk alone or with another girly at night (I used to go out with my friend all the time, although just for your own safety, I wouldn’t recommend doing it anywhere). Ripon is a small town and for locals, there isn’t as much to do, however we have plenty of tourist attractions, cathedral and a nice town center :)))
