The city is cozy, I often walk in the center at night, and I feel safe. A couple of times I encountered strange characters, but they were at a distance. There is lighting almost everywhere, and there are a lot of young people. It's hard to say about the residential areas, but I've been there a couple of times late at night and didn't see anything "scary."
