It’s very safe place, especially touristic areas. You can walk safely after dark and still feel safe. Just use the main safety rules and you’ll be just fine. If you have some troubles just ask for a help or contact police.
Posted: August 28, 2025It’s a safe city, but I would not recommend walking at night alone (maybe only in city center, there are lot of tourists). At dark time you might meet drunk people and this meeting is better to be avoided.
Posted: July 27, 2025I actually feel safe here. While commuting alone, I've never felt unsafe. I'm a university stydent so travelling is a major part of my daily routine. Sometimes there are drunk old menwho catcall you but it happens very rarely. So overall it's safe but it's always better to maintain your distance from these creeps
