Overall Krasnodar is a safe place. With occasional news about crime in the city. And potential petty thievery in public transport during busy hours. Normal safety rules apply: don’t walk in unlighted streets alone after hours. Don’t have your purse open in public transport.

The level of safely it quite high actually. Of course some bad situations happen sometimes as in any city, but i wouldn’t say it’s a big percentage here. I freely walk during the daytime and in the evening until 9pm, then it gets less crowded and i get worried as there are suspicious men who tend to flirt with women
