Well, Moscow is quite a safe city - many cameras and police everywhere… but of course unfortunately men may get you somewhere - in the streets, bars etc. and try to “flirt” with you. but it happened to me only several times. I do not worry about being robbed at all, and our transport system is very safe. But beware of drunk ppl or police checking!
Posted: July 15, 2025In general, Moscow is a very safe city for women (compared to my experience in Latin America). Here in Moscow, no matter what time it is, you can go for a walk alone around the city without fear of being robbed or kidnapped. There are policemen and people are very respectful.

Walk at night and no one bothers you. Lights everywhere, 24 hour stores, pharmacies and flower shops are always open. " MOSCOW NEVER SLEEPS" if you see alcoholics, they are focused on the liquor, not aggressive.

Overall Moscow is a safe city, but as everywhere else, precautions must be taken. For example, don't leave things unattended, don't walk alone too late, don't drink a lot of alcohol in an unfamiliar place, etc.
Posted: July 12, 2025Moscow is mostly a very safe city, as there are a lot of cameras and police around. In the city center there is nothing to be afraid of as long as you don’t break the law - otherwise the police probably will catch you. However it’s good to be cautious around drunk people in the suburbs, though they are mostly harmless.

Moscow is a great and safe city. You can feel absolutely okay while walking in dress or using public transport, even at night. People around are friendly and always ready to help, especially in the center of a city.
Posted: July 10, 2025It was a really nice trip. You can travel on a budget. There’s lots to see and do. I’d definitely try local cuisine, there’s a wide choice of dineries. Taxi is affordable, safe. Avoid travelling in the rush hour, the streets can be blocked.
