I did a semi-solo trip to Morocco and honestly, it was a mix of nerves and magic. I started with a FlixBus from Lyon to Marseille, then headed to Agadir, Taghazout, and Marrakesh. I was anxious at first — Morocco has a reputation for scams and cash-only places, but speaking some Arabic helped a lot. I went during Ramadan, which made the experience even more special. Locals were super friendly and open to sharing stories and meals. The souks can be intense (and yes, scammy), especially taxis — you have to bargain if you don’t look Moroccan. But I stayed in super affordable hostels, met great people, and my friend surfed while I explored. It was just 4 days, but I’d definitely go back!
