Its much safer in touristic spots, tourists must stick to those places and avoid visiting places where is less safe. I’d advice anyone coming to morocco especially solo female travelers to chat with a local to be advised about what places are safer for them

It depends on the area, some places are very safe and those where tourists usually go, and some others aren't safe. I think it's the situation everywhere. You should just always be watching your stuff like your bag and try to not use phone while walking in streets and stuff
Posted: September 24, 2025Overall it is okay if you choose carefully where to go, or if you have a group to go out with. Covered areas like shopping malls, restaurants, coffeeshops etc.. have always been safe in my experience. But walking around on the street can be a bit unsafe in certain neighborhoods, so doing research before coming is a must!!
