Paraty is a safe place, but we are still in the Rio de Janeiro region. The village is growing, and with that, more crimes are happening. However, it is still a nice place to live. I used to walk alone many times. Enjoy!

Solo travel

I loved Paraty. It's my favorite city in the world. I stayed in the historical part and felt safe all the time.
