Trindade (Paraty) is a very small Town. There is no public transport except for a Van which is more or less reliable (I saw it break down two times, but it’s fine). I felt completely safe there. There are just tourists walking around, the locals are super friendly. The doors of our hostel weren’t even locked because there is no crime going on. Very nice experience.
