How safe is Mogi Das Cruzes?

It is a calm city. After the pandemic, things got a little worse, but overall it is a safe place in almost all neighborhoods, and I do not feel any concern about walking around talking on the phone or anything like that.

Mogi is a city that is about 1 hour from the center of São Paulo (via the train, which is very accessible in terms of location, prices and availability), and compared to the capital, it is a very quiet and calm city. On the other hand, if you compare it to the cities around, Mogi is the most developed too, which is great! Within safety standards, I always felt safe walking through the city, using transport or going somewhere alone (of course, there are places that are not very advisable to go to, but they are easily detectable, and after a 10-minute conversation with someone you will already know which places in the city are best not to go to)! Mogi is also a city that is 40 minutes from the beach, so if you are looking for a place that is accessible to both the capital and the coast, this is the perfect place for you! If you need tips on what to do in Mogi or the best regions to stay, I'm always available for a chat!
