Curitiba is a great city to live in Brazil, but like any big city, we can never ignorate crime, which also happens here! I don’t like walking alone on the streets at night, but I always take Uber and it’s very safe. In the evening or at restaurants, it’s always very welcoming.
Posted: October 14, 2024Curitiba is a friendly city in certain areas, but it's good to always be attentive. I don't recommend being alone on the street at night. Some regions are more dangerous, so stay alert. Compared to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, it is much safer here.

I'm not experienced traveling alone, let alone abroad, so I'm here to find advice and connect with people. About me... I'm an I so it takes me a while to open up to people, I have a cat, dogs and chicken, I'm a vegetarian (but I don't mind people eating meat around me), I like seeing new places and walking around taking pictures of everything.
