It was pretty great, we was at my family’s house so not in the Center The weathers was sunny, the beach was amazing and there was pretty much things to do just it’s really easier with a car and it’s expensive
Posted: January 8, 2026I think miami was worth the trip, it was super fun but hella expensive. The water was clear and warm und the city was beautiful!! The people were super friendly. Public transport was super confusing but you get used to it. Over all it was fun I would a 100% recommend it :))
Posted: June 8, 2025I had a good time in Miami. It's good for a solo trip and people are generally warm and friendly. Tourist areas seemed safe. If you venture to other areas be vigilant. There are buses and free metro lines that connect major areas. It's easy to get around without renting a car. I stayed in a hostel in South Beach and loved it. If you speak Spanish you will be right at home, most locals are fluent in English. Little Havana and Wynwood were my favorite areas. Little Havana is super lively and...

I felt pretty safe in Miami, although there were some weird people at the club. Knowing how to hold your own is essential and keeping small self-defense devices on you. As a girl, you will get into the clubs for free with a promoter, but some of them are weird.

We love Miami, have been three times now for 3-5 days each trip Generally we felt safe, although we didn’t venture away from Miami Beach/South Beach much in the evenings. Daytime feels very safe. Obviously the beach and the Art Deco architecture of Miami Beach is the main draw, we spend a lot of time in the sea and eating in nearby restaurants. Great fun is to visit little Havana to dine and salsa, Coconut Grove is cool for dining too. Personally I wouldn’t choose go out alone at night, but...

I felt safe with my girls and we stuck together the whole trip, especially in the clubs. The budget was pretty cheap even though we went during spring break season, I didn’t have to spend too much. I recommend Bacon B*tch for brunch, if you don’t mind being called a b*tch by your waitress lol. Overall it was a fun Aries trip with people I love!
Posted: January 28, 2024I felt safe. I stayed in Brownsville. I took public transportation and rideshare. Lots of ways to get around the city. Food was great. Mattie's, Naomi Garden and Chef Creole are local favorites to try.

Always keep an eye out for trouble, but if you stay on the main streets in popular/tourist neighborhoods you will be fine. If you’re hanging around at night go into busier sections along biscayne or brickelll.

Miami can be relatively safe during the day, though bad characters will persist on public transit no matter what time of day. It’s important to be mindful and not make eye contact with anyone who seems suspicious, because if you do they will take it as means to chat with you.
Posted: March 6, 2026Miami is safe in the tourist areas like Brickell, Calle Ocho, and South Point. Be mindful of financial scams and who you drink with even if it is a sealed bottle. I recommend not going on a boat or stranded area with someone you do not know well. Suburbs are safer areas as well.
Posted: February 9, 2026Miami is pretty safe, I feel quite comfortable as a pedestrian and using the train but most days I am dealing with sexual harassment from strangers. But I’ve never had to deal with outright assault or stalking, though my sister has been followed once off the train. The city and downtown are especially dangerous, in Miami Beach at night there are “sand crawlers” that will literally crawl belly down on the sand to take your stuff, even while you’re laying on the very towel your bags are on. They...
Posted: January 4, 2025I haven’t had a threatening experience so far in Miami, but I do take a lot of care for it to be like this. No walking alone at all, avoiding being outside past midnight. I’ve received a lot of catcalling and weird stares. Always playing it safe!

there are some really great areas and then other areas where you should not be late at night. I would always have a buddy if possible towards the nighttime but genuinely pretty safe. Not a super walkable city so car is def a necessary
