Is Chelyabinsk safe for solo female travelers?

Chelyabinsk is moderately safe for female travelers. Like any city, safety can often depend on the area and time of day, but it is generally safe during the day. Crime exists but it is not rampant, especially towards tourists. As a solo female traveler, it is recommended to follow standard precautions such as avoiding lonely and poorly lit streets at night, not flaunting expensive belongings, and being aware of your surroundings at all times.
