Iasi is a very safe city. There are some areas where I didn't feel completely comfortable walking alone at night, especially with groups of men around. The train station area there are a lot of people consuming substances, so that is one example of those kinds of areas.

It is a very safe city, with civilized people. The social life is equilibrated and the public transport is decent, not that modern, but very safe. I have never experienced harassment or violent language in the city of Jassy.
