Katowice and Poland overall is pretty safe. We don’t have a big problem with agression towards women like for example Spain. Generally it is safe in public transport Though I am still worried about walking somewhere at night (depends what area of the city).

Katowice and surrounding towns are fairly safe. You can move with no worries even after dark. It's accepting for LGBTQ people. In Katowice as in every big city small accidents can happen u should remember that.

About me

Hi! I’m Antonina, currently studying in Katowice (Poland). I spent a year in Cádiz, Spain, where i did my Erasmus exchange. I (un)fortunately fell in love not only with the country! 😝 I enjoy discovering new places, especially with good coffee and fun company. Into languages, gym sessions, and spontaneous city walks. Always up for meeting new people and sharing good vibes!
