Solo travel

I felt so safe even l was wandering around at midnight, l am bot a club person but l went to the club and it was a bit uncomfortable experience for me due to men's attitudes. Mid-aged men in Lublin approach you and it makes me a bit uncomfortable, it is a small city and l don't think that there are lots of events it because small, l would recommend you to spend 1 day

I think you can feel unsafe in Lublin if you are traveling with someone, especially a man. I would advise women not to go out after dark. There are a lot of pathological places and men who drink alcohol and drugs in large quantities. Women in the city are very sexualized, so there are a lot of male gazes on them.

The safety of Lublin really depends on the neighbourhood. Some are safer, some are not. I do carry a pepper spray, but I have never been in dangerous situation myself and, from what I heard, my female friends too. However, I recommend not to explore the city alone, especially at night (just in case :)).

Moving from London to Lublin was a big big shock as I couldn't believe how safe it is in Lublin. Even at night I don't feel scared or anxious. Be cautious of your surroundings like everywhere else but there's not much to worry about here except some drunkards talking to you or making weird comments.

It’s really safe to go around in an old town, even when it’s dark outside i would say its okay. You should definitely be careful in sides of the city like Tatary or Bronowice but besides that it’s okay.

It's full of disgusting men, but nothing to be afraid of, really. The most they do is catcall, nothing more. You could be bothered by some drunks, but it's rare, there's no robberies, murders or fights. Just stay at home after dark when it's a day of a soccer match, there usually are some scary personas, but it isn't a big problem here.
