Solo travel

I felt so safe even l was wandering around at midnight, l am bot a club person but l went to the club and it was a bit uncomfortable experience for me due to men's attitudes. Mid-aged men in Lublin approach you and it makes me a bit uncomfortable, it is a small city and l don't think that there are lots of events it because small, l would recommend you to spend 1 day

Lublin is really safe city. There is no much danger by walking alone during the day or at night. Of course there're a few streets that aren't too friendly to walk at night (sometimes you can meet with catcalling there), but there aren't many of them.

I’ve lived here for a long time. Lublin is really safe. I didn’t experience any crimes and didn’t really hear of any serious ones, even though of course some thefts happen here. People are pretty helpful here and if you need anything you can always get some help on local facebook groups.

I think you can feel unsafe in Lublin if you are traveling with someone, especially a man. I would advise women not to go out after dark. There are a lot of pathological places and men who drink alcohol and drugs in large quantities. Women in the city are very sexualized, so there are a lot of male gazes on them.

The safety of Lublin really depends on the neighbourhood. Some are safer, some are not. I do carry a pepper spray, but I have never been in dangerous situation myself and, from what I heard, my female friends too. However, I recommend not to explore the city alone, especially at night (just in case :)).

Moving from London to Lublin was a big big shock as I couldn't believe how safe it is in Lublin. Even at night I don't feel scared or anxious. Be cautious of your surroundings like everywhere else but there's not much to worry about here except some drunkards talking to you or making weird comments.
