solo trip to krakow.. such a beautiful city.. i spent a lot of time in the jewish quarter – loved the street art, the little cafés and the whole atmosphere.. the food was amazing too.. it was winter, so a bit cold, but honestly the city still felt warm in its own way.. would totally go again

I’d say I felt mostly safe because I stayed at a female only hostel. But i also enjoyed the nightlife and everyone was very respectful even though i was sadly dangerously intoxicated:( (was having a bad day)

Even at night I felt quite safe, but in the tenement house where we stayed there was a homeless man sleeping in the staircase, but he was calm. The area was very nice, about a kilometer from the market square. The food is of good quality

There are people with bad intentions everywhere, but overall I would say Kraków is very safe. During the day, there isn’t a single place where I feel threatened. Nothing has ever happened to me at night either, but as a very cautious person, I avoid dimly lit streets and carry pepper spray with me (never had to use it, but since it's completely legal in Poland, why not have it. I also recommend buying special wipes in case you spray yourself). Near the main train station, sometimes you...

For 4 years living here I've neve experienced any crime or even insults. And I have been alone during nights in different parts of the city. I do feel safe when I have walks in midnight, even while listening to music. There have been some guys who tried to get acquainted and persistent, but they haven't been aggressive, just talkative

In general I feel very safe in Krakow, never felt anscious even during night solo walks/night park rollerblading. The city centre might be the most dangerous area due to a lot of pubs/clubs and drunk people.
Posted: May 30, 2026very safe place to travel, it is very convient if you are solo-travel. at night be carefoul with drunk people in old town but they are mostly harmless. crime rate is low, traffic rules are super important, you should obey them perfectly because fees are high

Hi! I’m a working student who dreams about working remotely in the future while traveling the world. My first stop will be Japan. I’m saving money for it right now :) For now I’m living in Kraków and I would love to meet people from around the world. Soon I’ll open my house for hosting, as I’m moving into a much bigger place. I would love to give you a tour of the city as I have a pretty gran historical a cultural knowledge about the place :)

Hii!! I am Amelia (but I go by Keira). I am 18 years old. I am a dreamer with a backpack, a heart full of compassion, and a passport that's never dusty for long. I am currently doing my senior class at JDJ IOS American High School Online. I believe travel is less about ticking off destinations and more about building bridges - especially between hearts and ideas. I love volunteering abroad and have a deep passion for projects that make a difference. Whether it's helping animals, working with children, or participating in Erasmus+ exchanges, I seek out meaningful experiences that connect purpose with exploration. You will usually find me: - horse riding at golden hour - ice skating on ice rink - journaling in a park - taking care of kids - volunteering - or on another Erasmus+ youth exchange I adore deep conversations, spontaneous gateaways, souful music, and laughing until it hurts. I love slow travel, where I can feel the rhythm of a place and meet incredible women who inspire me - just like you. I’m looking to connect with fellow travel ladies for cultural exchanges, weekend escapes, shared volunteering projects, or just a coffee in a new city. I believe the best friendships are made under starry skies, on long train rides, or while getting lost in a new town together. Let's connect, if you are: 🌸 A solo traveler or expat 🧭 A purpose-driven adventurer 🎭 Someone who loves storytelling, activism or journaling 🏕 Into mindfulness, nature, or simply daydreaming by the sea 🐴 An animal lover (bonus if you want to help me build a rehab clinic for traumatized rescue animals someday!)
