I felt super safe in Agadir, but I was visiting a local friend there, so I spent most of my time with a local. Probably it would be harder for me alone, but mainly because of the language barrier; the city itself is much more pleasant than Marrakech, in my opinion. Although my friend insisted that I shouldn't wear a camera around my neck.
Posted: December 11, 2023I went to Agadir, which was a nice place to spend a few days. I didn't feel it would be appropriate to go to the sea in a bikini, as none of the local women were doing that, so I used a shirt with a so-called rash vest and shorts. In Morocco, it is a personal decision whether to cover up or not, and I do not have the right to overstep boundaries in someone else's country. It is always safer to assimilate.
