As anywhere, it's important to take general precautions, especially at night, but even as a solo female traveler, you should feel comfortable exploring this beautiful Italian location.

Navigating Positano, is reasonably straightforward. The town is small and mostly walkable. However, it’s worth noting that it's built vertically into a cliff, resulting in many steep streets, steps, and inclines which may be challenging for some individuals. Additionally, the roads are a bit narrow which can be slightly difficult for new visitors. Despite these minor obstacles, it's a picturesque and enchanting place which makes the walking quite enjoyable.

Solo travel experience

Positano is nice and the way the buildings are incorporated into the cliff slope is cool, but in my opinion, the town itself was too crowded and 'pretentious'.
