Public transportation:Safe
Public transportation in Andros is fairly safe, especially considering that theft and other serious crimes are generally not a major issue. The Public buses (KTEL) are the most common mode of transportation, connecting villages and towns across the island. Buses are usually well-maintained, drivers are reliable, and pickpocket occurrences are rare. However, do remain vigilant about your belongings during high seasons as buses can get crowded. It’s also worth noting that bus schedules can be infrequent, particularly during off-peak seasons, so it's necessary to plan your trips accordingly.
