During the day its really safe since there is a lot of people everywhere but during night its a little less safe since there are a lot of night bars the chances of meeting stangers who are trying to talk to you

It's a city full of poor people but if you stay in safe parts it's gonna be all good. You might see some crazy people but that's about it. Tourist parts are well observed by cameras. Public transportation is farly safe

There are only harmless wierdos, and you might see some creeps, but people mostly keep to themselves, maybe if you stare too much you're gonna get a rude comment but that's all, I have the biggest issue with rude older people on public transport but that's just a minor thing, overall I would say its pretty safe here, you can safelly get home by a bus after a night out
