I loved Vienna very much. I saw Gustav Klmtin's famous painting The Kiss up close and visited many museums. Vienna was a wonderful city. I stayed in a hotel and everything was very cosy. I tried Vienna's famous coffee and dessert and it was great.

I don‘t know why but I feel like it‘s always sunny in Vienna! (Even in the coldest october) The pictures were taken by my analog camera when I visited a good friend last october. I always felt safe in the city and even though it‘s a big city it doesn‘t feel like it. I can highly recommend, it‘s a really beautiful city.🌞

Lots to do and see. Most people speak English too. There is something for everyone here in Vienna. I found it not too difficult to make friends so that’s a plus. Felt very safe especially as a woman walking on my own at night.

I stayed at the Stadaffe hostel it was super social and nice. The city is very safe to walk around both during the day and at night. It’s is really clean and gives a nice and cozy atmosphere. You have a lot of budget friendly fast food and a lot of shops. It’s really easy to move around with public transportation.
Posted: December 28, 2023Schönbrunn Palace is beautiful, as is Belvedere with Gustav Klimt's Kiss. I loved walking around St. Stephen's Cathedral, Hofburg, Vienna Opera House, City Hall, and Museum Quarter and drinking coffee in local cafes in the city center. It is definitely worth seeing Hundertwasser House as well, even from the outside. Beautiful views of the city extend from Nussberg, the wine-growing area.
Posted: December 25, 2023It was very beautiful and amazing ! 😊😊Very great art museums to see. Safe and clean city, would recommend for solo female travel 👍🏻 👍🏻 Also, would recommend going to the vineyards that is 30 mins from the city, amazing view and lovely wine, what’s not to like 😉
Posted: October 23, 2023I went in May and I really enjoyed it there. I spent most of my time at free or discounted attractions, but the city was quite easy to navigate, safe and seemed beautiful to me.
Posted: July 14, 2023I didn't really like Vienna. The city didn't impress me much and it wasn't that beautiful, the food wasn't too good, and it was expensive. The only things to do there were visiting museums (which were also expensive). Nonetheless, I liked the museums I went to. What irritated me was that they were annoyingly expensive compared to other museums I've visited in Europe.
Posted: July 12, 2023Naschmarkt was my absolute favorite part of Vienna. It is an amazing outdoor market where they sell food, spices, candied fruits, and all kinds of things. My favorite dish in Vienna came from there - goulash from one of the restaurants. I also loved to walk along the river. A charming place for walks.
Posted: June 5, 2023Vienna is an incredible and beautiful city. I really enjoyed the Freud Museum, the Belvedere Palace, and the Schönbrunn Palace. I felt very safe.
Posted: May 25, 2023In Vienna there is something to do for everyone. No matter if you like art, movies, music, architecture, food, partying, you will find events that cater to your interests every day. I especially recommend visiting the state opera one night: you can buy standing tickets last minute for 10€. Vienna is generall a very safe city, so it's no problem to walk around at all hours of the day. Foodwise Austria is a bit bland. Vienna has a deeply rooted "Kaffehaus" culture. To have a traditional experience I would recommend visiting Cafe Landtmann.
Posted: August 6, 2023I lived in Vienna for 2 years (between 2019 and 2021) and I absolutely LOVED it! There is so much to do, everywhere is just so beautiful, and the prices are very fair, I found it cheaper than other European capitals :) Always recommend it to everyone, as it still seems like a „underrated” place!
