Innsbruck is a great place to stay if you like the mountains. It's incredibly expensive, therfore only 4 stars, but you can be sure, that everything you buy, eat, do is out of good quality. The coffee is tasty and people are friendly, I felt very safe. If you are in a budget, avoid Innsbruck! If not, enjoy :)

I only spent a day/night there but the scenery is stunning from the whole town. You can walk along the river or head to the little mall where there's a rooftop bar with 360 degree views, good day or night. I didn't catch the cable car up to the mountain top but my friend did and she loved it! Cheaper for students in the afternoon I think. I hiked a mountain looking for a spot to boulder which I didn't have time to climb in the end but it was still lovely. Splashed myself in the mountains streamz, picked wild cherries and oregano and got a lift from a local part way up the hill with my trusty thumb! Also found a great hostel, very cosy and cheap, above cafe munding, I would highly recommend.

I always feel very safe in Innsbruck. I love to ski, and the city is perfect for that. What I love is that you can see the mountains all around the city. I was cycling, but I believe there is a train connection.

You can go everywhere because we have so many young people living here. Everything looks cute so you feel safe. I like the river and how I can sit there without feeling watched. You can always go into the mountains, into the park or drink a coffe.

I am a student at Innsbruck Medical school and love to make music (Clarinet and Soprano-Saxophon) in my freetime. Beside of that I really enjoy nature in the mountains around here. I like to go hiking or climbing whenever I have a day off. Together with some friends I live in an old house with an garden.

Hi I’m Sofie, 19 years old and I love to travel. Currently I’m traveling Australia and I’m looking for people who would like to show me around, take fun trips or maybe even host. I’m a very outgoing person and love to try new things. :) I love skiing and snowboarding ( I’m actually a ski/snowboard instructor). I also love to go riding, climbing, swimming, camping and hiking, basically all mountain/ nature related things.
