depending on the area, linz is quite safe. unless you are around the train station at night that is. I do have to say, as a queer, alt-looking woman, i have experienced some weird comments by men and young boys. 😭

Linz is a safe place. I live in the center, there are always people around so you never feel alone. They way from the center to my flat is along safe streets and just 15min to walk. There are always strange people in every city, but I'm here since 15 years and never had a problem. You just have to watch after your drinks here! Never leave a glass somewhere on the table without watching it. But the city is safe so far.
