Linz is pretty safe but i would not take puplic transport alone at night. I would also not recommend Auwiesen/ Turmstraße or Rudolfstraße at night. The Hauptbahnhof is also safe and nightlife is not dangerous at all

depending on the area, linz is quite safe. unless you are around the train station at night that is. I do have to say, as a queer, alt-looking woman, i have experienced some weird comments by men and young boys. 😭

About Me

Hi there! I’m Elif, a 25-year-old master’s student in Sustainable Energy Systems, currently living in Linz, Austria. I moved here from Turkey a few months ago and am still adjusting to my new life while balancing my studies and looking for work opportunities. I love meaningful conversations, music, and cozy environments. I enjoy singing and sometimes use it as a way to relax. Food, movies, and good company are things that bring me comfort. I’m also curious about psychology, especially dream interpretation, and I love learning new things—right now, I’m diving deep into energy markets and storage solutions for renewable energy. I’m looking for a place to stay while I travel and would love to connect with people who enjoy exchanging ideas and experiences. I’d be happy to share my knowledge, cook a meal, or help with anything around the house in return for your hospitality. Let me know if you’d be open to hosting me! Looking forward to meeting you! Best, Elif
