Is Yosemite Valley safe to travel?

Group travel experience

Such a great time with friends. We went after we graduated highschool. Best experience ever. I felt safe for the most part. It was my first time being that far from home at 18 so it was still a bit scary but Yosemite was safe. We had some nice neighbors who helped us out with pots and pans we needed and some guy helped my friends back issue. He was a marine with 2 kids with him and politely asked if she needed help cracking her back. He was very respectful with knowing we may be a little off put by a stranger but didn’t want to leave us in need. She ended up taking him up on his offer and it made our whole trip better with the kindness of a stranger
