Solo travel

It was a relatively safe place, during the day it was fine I felt tots safe but at night (sadly like most places) as a woman it was a little sketchy so I wouldn’t go out alone anywhere. The restaurants and activities are very eclectic, it’s definitely an artistic community. Great food low prices comparatively.

I feel super safe in Raleigh. I’ve walked alone at night in many parts of the city and felt completely fine. Some areas of the city can be sketchy, but if you walk past no one will bother you. Most of the outskirts of the city are very neighborhood-ly and safe

Raleigh and the surrounding areas are generally safe. Patriarchy is in full effect here like most places and you can expect a standard dose of objectification and harassment. I don't worry about getting robbed or my house broken into.
