Is Bethlehem worth visiting?

Group travel

I spent most of my time in Jerusalem and visited Bethlehem. It was safe, but I was in a group. I dressed modestly to respect the culture. I had a wonderful time.

Bethlehem is a small town with about 3000 people. The town has a blinking light, it's very quiet.. The town has sidewalks, and it's lit up but the sidewalks don't really go anywhere, there are a couple good restaurants in town, liquor store, library, basic govt buildings.

Bethlehem has 2 downtowns. The Northside is VERY safe and more upscale. The Southside is also safe but more of the younger-college vibe, and is also very safe. Anything within a few blocks of the casino on the Southside I would not stay at as a solo female, but generally Bethlehem is a very safe area to be.
