Is Bethlehem worth visiting?

Group travel

I spent most of my time in Jerusalem and visited Bethlehem. It was safe, but I was in a group. I dressed modestly to respect the culture. I had a wonderful time.

Is Bethlehem safe for women?

Bethlehem has 2 downtowns. The Northside is VERY safe and more upscale. The Southside is also safe but more of the younger-college vibe, and is also very safe. Anything within a few blocks of the casino on the Southside I would not stay at as a solo female, but generally Bethlehem is a very safe area to be.

About Me

I am a Ukrainian born American. I have lived all around the world, and love traveling for fun. Although I cannot host at this time, I am very interested in continuing to learn about new cultures. I am obsessed with food, especially if it's homemade and introduces me to a new flavors or combination of ingredients. I love to read, enjoy anything outdoorsy, I like a great cup of coffee or tea - alone or with an interesting new friend, and I'm always exploring, even in my own backyard.
