Is Huddersfield worth visiting?

Is Huddersfield safe for women?

I find Huddersfield to be pretty safe, however, there are a lot of homeless and a lot of rough and drunk people in the town center. They have never bothered me or made me feel unsafe but maybe because I'm used to it, I can understand how a visitor might be made feel unsafe if it's their first time in town.
